We'll be having her funeral in a few days. It will be family only because we have a very large family and we need it to be simple. We want very much for everyone to be able to be a part somehow, so we're also having a memorial service. The soonest we could get is June 7th at 2pm because our church has lots of events scheduled. It will be at Calvary Costa Mesa, 3800 S Fairview St, Santa Ana, CA 92704. The memorial is because we want to meet the faces of so many people that have come along side us in this. We'd also like to see those of you from the NICU who took part in her care. We want everyone to feel welcomed to come, whether or not you've met us.
Today our baby Gisele went home to be with the Lord. Tiffany and I held her in her last moments here on earth and she was very peaceful. We want to thank family and friends for all your love and support. During this difficult time of mourning we do ask that you give us time to grieve. We know that Gisele is in heaven with God and that gives us a sense of peace.
"Gisele, Daddy, Momma and Tykei Love you so much." We are not by any means out of the woods but we've taken a step in the right direction. She's still requiring a lot of oxygen. It varies but right now it's at 45%, down from yesterdays 75%. She is still very ill so we are staying close, but we're thankful they went down. I'll try and post an update around 12.
