We are not by any means out of the woods but we've taken a step in the right direction. She's still requiring a lot of oxygen. It varies but right now it's at 45%, down from yesterdays 75%. She is still very ill so we are staying close, but we're thankful they went down. I'll try and post an update around 12.

I'm praying specifically for the doctors today. That the Holy Spirit - the revealer of all truth - reveal truth and understanding of Giselle's condition and treatments. That no treatment is in vain, and that He guides their minds and eyes and hands. Jeremiah 33:3 says that He will show us great and in searchable things that we do not know of. Not just the mysteries of The Lord for blessing, but in this specific situation - thing a the doctors and specialists DO NOT KNOW OF, that they be revealed today!

We are praying for you mom and dad! In the words of Joshua - be bold, be courageous! Do not lose heart! John says - Don't let your heart be troubled... Trust Him! You are not alone, we are standing with you!

My wonderful friend sent this to me a few months ago. I've shared it with Tiffany but I feel that I should share it with all of those who follow this blog as well.

The beginning of the unfolding of the manifold healing power of the almighty God. As the blood of Jesus goes thru her body, that any organ, tissue or whatever needs to be replaced, healed and strengthened receives the unstoppable hand of God. For it is not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord. And what are thou oh mountain that stands before Gisele for you shall become a plain. In the name of Jesus. Zak 4:6,7

    Medical History:

Born 2/7/14 eight weeks early with a large SCT tumor (Sacrococcygeal Teratoma) and lymphangiectasia causing severe chylothorax (aka pleural effusion).

She weighed about 4 lbs plus the 2.5 lb tumor.

Major five hour surgery to remove it on 2/13. Had to be resuscitated for about 90 mins when surgery was almost complete. It's a miracle she survived, and did not have significant brain damage.

The chylothorax caused a weak immune system and she passed away from a pneumonia infection on 5/21/14.
