Gisele is doing better now, the doctors moved her to another ventilation machine that she will be breathing more on her own which is a good sign, still fluid keeps building around her heart and lungs and the doctors are waiting on this issue to be able to do more testing to find out if she has any cancer since the tumor tested positive for cancer. They need to make sure the cancer didn't spread to her body. As for the brain damage we are not going to find out exactly how much damage for several months or even years, the MRI shows old and new blood in the brain, but her reactions are normal so far which is a good sign too, today her urine was kind of greenish and we are waiting on lab results to see if there is a urine infection. Please keep this in your prayers. Tiffany and Ron are standing strong in there faith and Tiffany has been witnessing about God's goodness to the doctors.
Today's Verse:
This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.   They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.        Lamentations 3 : 21 - 23

    Medical History:

Born 2/7/14 eight weeks early with a large SCT tumor (Sacrococcygeal Teratoma) and lymphangiectasia causing severe chylothorax (aka pleural effusion).

She weighed about 4 lbs plus the 2.5 lb tumor.

Major five hour surgery to remove it on 2/13. Had to be resuscitated for about 90 mins when surgery was almost complete. It's a miracle she survived, and did not have significant brain damage.

The chylothorax caused a weak immune system and she passed away from a pneumonia infection on 5/21/14.
